THE FLOW OF INFORMATION, IDEAS AND EQUATIONS

Perfect, but how did Albert Einstein know to predict gravitational waves…Where exactly did that information come from? Never afraid to use his imagination and go with his intuition the man was a lightning rod of insight and discovery famous for employing thought experiments to solve problems and change the world. Given its pillar-like nature today alongside the Standard Model and quantum field theory describing our physical reality, one would probably think that General Relativity (GR) gained immediate acceptance upon its release in late 1915, but it didn’t. Radical change can be shocking and so is the understanding that E=mc^2 wasn’t something Einstein himself invented. No, energy (E) being equivalent to mass (m) multiplied by the speed of light squared (c^2), the most recognizable formula of all time was activated deep inside the dynamic first second of our universe’s life. It just took the genius of Albert Einstein to realize the connection in this mass-energy equivalence and present it to our thinking in the form of an algebraic expression.

How does this work? Well, information flowing through Einstein’s mental capacity (via imagination, thought experiment, etc.) got deciphered and then encoded into language (mathematics) we all agree on - relevant and fitting to the sound standards set. He didn’t invent E=mc^2 but he’s the founder and upon his flash of realization this novel equation would be contained solely in Einstein’s brain as far as human awareness is concerned. A location this deep connection will remain unless he expresses it back into the physical field for human understanding and use. Picture a light bulb switching on in Einstein’s mind as this mass-energy equivalence gets apprehended and then written in terms of an equation to be shared with the world.

INFLOWS AND OUTFLOWS OF AN INFORMATIONAL INTELLIGENCE BY WAY OF CONSCIOUS EXPRESSION

This information is new, not just for Einstein in his time, also in the here and now as you read this. Much of our thought process involves the memory of what we already know, information previously taken in; knowledge that can be synthesized together and expressed in the formation of ideas, however we must admit that some information entering the mind is truly novel. New acts of insight that seemingly come out of nowhere in what I like to call flashes of realization, many of which have occurred for me writing Universal Flow Theory and I am no different than any other theorist or thinker in how this flowing movement works. In fact, every human being is participating in this movement of intelligence daily and the depth of one’s connection is always their choice.

Universe → Einstein’s Mind → Human Hands → Human Mind(s) → Outflow

As the natural flow above describes in Einstein’s case, information embedded in the universe itself (from Big Bang birth) is decoded by the brain (light bulb in Einstein’s mind), then written as an equation (outflow to publishing) to be understood by reading (inflow to new mind) and stored in memory as knowledge which can be expressed back into the physical field. Pretty simple how this activity works and now that we understand the E=mc^2 example, let us generalize this flowing movement:

Foundational Field → Mental Realm → Physical Field → Mental Realm → Physical Field

This Foundational Field as noted is the physical field of expression - boldfaced above to distinguish it as stemming from the source of our Big Bang birth. What we need to pay attention to here in order to ground ourselves properly in reality is to appreciate the time span that elapsed between the laying down of this foundational field in baryogenesis (matter creation) and the almost 14 billion years it took for Einstein to discover one of its core physical secrets. Meaning, just like Newton’s F=ma (force = mass times acceleration), this equation he articulated was sitting there the whole time too - deep inside a universal intelligence just waiting to be discovered, deciphered and communicated. To say the information or intelligence didn’t exist prior to its discovery, or that somehow we create the entire field ourselves is untenable. The universe gave us being and we give it meaning - a universe outside ourselves approach Einstein would have agreed with coupled with a universe inside ourselves approach in UFT as shown in its mathematical proportionality. That is to say, we couldn’t be anymore inside this universe of ours than we are right now and it couldn’t be anymore inside of us but make no mistake about it, the existence of our cosmos does not depend on us - just the level of its meaning does. The degree of intelligence it actually attains.

WE ARE THE UNIVERSE TRYING TO UNDERSTAND ITSELF

The primary transfer of information here is from the physical field (universal intelligence) to mental realm (Einstein’s mind) and thankfully it doesn’t take another 14 billion years for this information to flow again, but in order for it to be shared this insight must return to the field. In other words, the groundbreaking equation contained in Einstein’s mind will remain there unless he expresses its origination back into the physical field from which it came in whatever form he decides - written, spoken, etc. It cannot go from mind-to-mind directly otherwise it would be telepathy. I trust you can see our conscious connection and when you step back to observe the whole picture in this holistic context it looks like the universe is breathing - an informational intelligence getting inhaled and exhaled by the lungs of conscious expression.

At the fourth link in the chain, where the equation put down in the field is now being learned by a new brain through the act of reading and understanding, like you are doing here, we can insert different breathing techniques. Like the effort of a teacher preparing a lesson for her class describing the history and meaning of E=mc^2 and with a simple modification to this 4th step, the fifth one where the information she has prepared gets communicated back into the physical field, knowledge now outflows to many minds at once - to be stored in their memory for possible future expression, combined with other ideas to be synthesized and expressed, or maybe forgotten over time.  We live in a participatory universe where it is always up to the individual to intake the information (intelligence) and put it to use. Profound yet simple, Universal Flow Theory shows how an informational flow of intelligence breathes life into a conscious cosmos.

THE UNIVERSE EXPRESSES ITSELF THROUGH US AND ALL OF LIFE

Through an act of insight as Bohm would have described it, like an archaeologist excavating evidence from the ground, Einstein tapped directly into the source of our universe, articulated the manifested physical intelligence operating there, and then uploaded this information to the memory of humankind – the human stream of consciousness.  Or if you prefer, our shared knowledge.  Albert Einstein’s spectacular realization as shown here in its most basic light can be explained by a transfer of information from our universe’s physical intelligence to its mental intelligence - one of the most direct acts of insight human beings can achieve.  Certainly not the first and clearly not the last, as Einstein’s “spiritual son” David Bohm so essentially described, our knowledge just like our reality is in a continual process of becoming* and through these new acts of insight - imagination and thought being expressed into the one physical field - the human stream of consciousness continues to flow today; right here, right now, between us.

* David Bohm (1917-1992) published Wholeness and the Implicate Order in 1980 where he stated: “Not only is everything changing, but all is flux. That is to say, what is is the process of becoming itself” and that’s not a typo on the second is. Let that sink in. Could there be a more succinct description of a universe’s unfoldment in the realization that you, me and everything we see is the what is that Bohm describes? Meaning everything in nature including the universe itself is in the perpetual process of becoming what it will be tomorrow. We are all immersed in this Universal Flow.
